Jungle Book is Jellyfish Theatre’s first fully BSL inclusive production, and is a collaboration between Jellyfish Theatre Artistic Director, Sarah Simpson; Associate Director Mary-Jayne Russell de Clifford; and Movement Director Charlotte Bradley.

Charlotte has worked with Jellyfish since 2019, taking a production of A Christmas Carol to Rome as an actor.

She has since worked as Movement Director on several Jellyfish projects and absolutely loves collaborating on the creation of inclusive performances for families to enjoy.”

Charlotte was recently a part of the West End company of The Unfriend at the Criterion Theatre. She also stars in Channel 4’s BAFTA winning ‘HOW TO BE A PERSON’ directed by Emmy nominated Sindha Agha. 

 

Associate Director, Mary-Jayne Russell de Clifford

“I am a theatre maker and workshop facilitator, passionate about deaf and BSL inclusive theatre and empowering people through the use of theatre and drama. ​

​​I graduated from the University of Reading in 2005 with a degree in Theatre Arts, Education and Deaf Studies. Since then, I have worked as a freelance theatre facilitator, stage manager, actor, scriptwriter, BSL storyteller, mentor and theatre director. My previous Associate Director role are Watermill Youth Ensemble, Deafinitely Youth Theatre and Sherman Theatre with deaf community.”
